Description: Petty Theft/Resisting Arrest/Possession of Burglary Tools/Possession of Methamphetamine/Committing a Felony while on Bail/False Identification to a Peace Officer. Members of the Special Enforcement Team, were assisting the Indian Wells Special Enforcement Team with a vehicle tow at the location. While members were on scene, a store manager flagged them down and reported that a female, later identified as a subject, had entered the passenger seat of a gray vehicle with stolen merchandise from the business. Deputies followed the vehicle and caught up with it at Rancho Las Palmas Drive and Bob Hope Drive, where an investigative stop was conducted. The subject exited the vehicle and fled on foot into a nearby parking lot. Members pursued the subject on foot and subsequently took her into custody. The subject was positively identified by the store manager. A law enforcement database records check revealed Patino had three outstanding felony warrants for her arrest. The subject was also out on bail for a previous case. All merchandise was recovered and returned to the business. During a search incident to arrest, deputies located methamphetamine, a pipe, and burglary tools. The subject was arrested and booked at John Benoit Detention Center
