Description: The Second Squad reports on the arrest of two people for a Grand Larceny that occurred on Monday, August 31, 2026 at 6:31 PM in Syosset. According to Detectives, two subjects in a black Chevrolet did exit their vehicle near the intersection of Richmond Street and Willis Avenue and removed a pole and the Flock camera attached to it before fleeing the scene. After a thorough investigation was conducted, the vehicle was located on 3 rd Street in West Babylon and [subject], West Babylon and Dayton Schell, 22 of 93 Forest Drive, Ronkonkoma were placed under arrest without incident. [subject] and Dayton Schell are both charged with Grand Larceny 3 rd , Criminal Mischief 2 nd and Conspiracy 5 th . They will be arraigned on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
