Mary elizabeth stuart and her two daughters, jessie flo stuart and fannie fawn stuart, were reported missing on december 13, 1977.Mary stuart and her two daughters were last seen on december 10, 1977 leaving their residence near honeydew to go shopping in eureka. Mary stuart was reportedly driving a red 1969 opel station wagon with california license plate 456aii. The three failed to return home that evening. On january 1, 1978, mary stuart’s station wagon was located on an unused logging road 1-1/2 miles from the stuart residence. Despite searches of the area, mary and her children were never found.
