On friday, december 22, 1995 at approximately 1:00 am victim eric harper, an 18 year old black male, was shot while in the area of 1124 nw 5 ave. People in the area heard a conversation outside and then heard "Hey man". They then heard one gunshot. The victim was then heard saying "Oh my god, I've been shot, I'm gonna die". A witness didn't see the shooting but heard the "Pop" and saw a black escort flee the scene.
