Marlin dwayne bradley lived at 2612 eastline road in searcy and was married to kisa bradley. Marty worked as a truck driver at agri turf in searcy and on july 19, 1994, he requested to be off work on august 5, 1994 so he could "Go out of town on family business". This was believed to be a trip he was going to make to louisiana to spend time with kisa and their children. On july 29, 1994 at about 3:30 am, kisa her children, and a juvenile teen family member left the residence without marty to go to louisiana. At about 4:12 pm, marty was found dead in his home. He was lying on a bed in his bedroom with blood on his face from an apparent gunshot wound from a .38 caliber bullet.
