On july 18, 2012, the victim was at home sleeping when 5 unknown black males entered the house. A struggled ensued with the victim and the suspect(s), and the victim was shot by one of the suspects. During the struggle the victim's 15 year old son was pistol whipped. The suspects were seen fleeing the area in a silver 4 door vehicle.
