On the evening of september 2nd into september 3rd, 2017 deleon was inside of club 808 sports bar at 164 lyell ave. At closing time, mr. Deleon left the club and was talking to a person in the area of 90 saratoga ave when the suspect approached on foot and fired multiple gunshots at him. Mr. Deleon wounds proved to be fatal. He was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Investigators believe this was a targeted attack against mr. Deleon.
