On april 4, 2021, at approximately 3:03 am, a resident in the area of 1370 republic avenue, called columbus police to report that there was a suspicious white vehicle, parked in the alley. The caller said they approached the vehicle and asked the driver to move from the area. When the driver did not respond, the caller called for a police response. Once columbus police patrol officers arrived, they opened the door of the vehicle and noticed that the driver appeared to be suffering from a gunshot wound and was not breathing. The officers immediately contacted police radio to ask for a medic to respond. Cfd medic 16 responded and pronounced the victim, 49yr old khemphone soulivong at 3:22 am.Agency
