On june 25th, 2024, at about 11 pm, officers responded to barons st., near weigel alley for the report of a man shot. Officers found 38-year-old, leroy bethel lying in the alley near his car suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital, but died the following day.
