On july 29th, 2006, at approximately 5:54 a.M., deputies responded to 5646 piney ridge drive in reference to an aggravated battery with a firearm. The victim had just arrived home when three unknown black males approached him and demanded cash and drugs. The victim was shot during the confrontation and died as a result of the gunshot wound.
