On august 3, 2022 just after midnight 19-year-old jared jones was riding his bike south on lake ave., heading home from charlotte beach, when he was struck by a 2013 dodge ram pick-up truck that fled the scene. Jared tragically died as a result of the injuries he sustained. Investigators have followed up on dozens of leads and reviewed hours of video surveillance from the area. Despite their efforts, they still lack the evidence needed to make an arrest. Jared jones was a '20 graduate of school of the arts, a talented musician and an aspiring record company owner. His family has been devastated since the day of his death. They continue to plea for the individuals with direct knowledge of who was driving the truck to come forward.Agency
