Date: 02/26/2011 time: 0156 hours location: 5th street & avocado avenue (goldsboro) sanford, fl 32771 cause of death: gunshot wound manner of death: homicide motive: unknown on february 26th, 2008 sanford police officers responded to the area of 5th street and avocado avenue in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival officers encountered a black male identified as hamilton clark laying in the roadway. Clark had sustained a gunshot wound to the back, which exited his chest. Clark was transported to central florida regional hospital and later airlifted to orlando regional medical center. Clark passed away as a result of his injury. A witness was identified and advised that just after hearing the gunshots, she observed two unknown black males fleeing on foot west towards the seminole gardens housing projects. The male(s) were heard stating “I told you I was gonna get your (expletive)!” anyone with information is asked to contact the sanford police department criminal investigations section lieutenant stacie mccoy 407-562-2777 or stacie.Mccoy@sanfordfl.Gov
