Description: Suspected Scammers Attempting To Defraud Residents. Scammers Approach Residents At Their Homes And Offer To Spread Pine Straw. A Price For This Service Is Usually Negotiated Per Bale Of Pine Straw Spread. The Crews Will Then Spread Some Pine Straw On The Lawn. After Completing The Work The Crews Then Confront The Homeowner With An Exorbitant Bill With A Greatly Inflated Number Of Bales Spread. The Crews May Use Intimidation Tactics To Ensure Payment Is Made.
