Description: On 10/21/2026 at approximately 1311 hours, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a purple Ford Focus at 126 Rainbow Dr., Belton, MO 64012. The driver was identified as Crystal D. Barker, who had four active Belton warrants: #2617MFA2239 for failure to provide proof of insurance, #2617MFA2240 for no insurance, #2617MFA2241 for shoplifting, and #2617MFA2244 for possession of dangerous drugs. The total bond for the warrants was $900.00, or 10% cash or surety. [NAME] was taken into custody without incident by Belton Police officers who were on scene.

Joseph t. Davis b/m 08/24/1985 on 09-12-2012 at approximately 1420 hours, officers were dispatched to 40th & wabash on a shooting. The victim was located lying in the southwest corner suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died of his injuries. The victim had been walking in the area when he was approached by a black chevy monte carlo. The occupant(s) began shooting at the victim from inside the vehicle.
