At approximately 11:50 pm, west precinct officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of 34th street ensley on report of a person shot. Officers arrived on the scene and observed a vehicle which had collided into a parked vehicle. Upon further investigation, Officers observed an occupant (victim) of the vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was unresponsive. Birmingham fire and rescue arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim deceased. The preliminary investigation suggests the victim was possibly targeted; there were over 40 rounds fired in this incident.Agency
