Description: The Second Squad reports the details of a Fatal Aided that occurred on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 11:25 a.m. in Locust Valley. According to Detectives, Second Precinct Officers responded to a Forest Avenue residence for a man that fell from the roof. Upon arrival, police observed a 51-year-old male victim lying on the ground with severe head trauma. It was determined that the victim fell from the first-floor roof after losing his footing. The victim was transported to a local nearby hospital where he was pronounced by a hospital physician. The investigation is ongoing.
