Description: Public Intoxication: A deputy responded to a disturbance at the nearby Sheetz. Information was provided that the suspect was possibly intoxicated and acting aggressively toward vehicles. A deputy observed the suspect yelling at a customer at the store. Upon making contact, the suspect displayed signs of impairment, including an odor of alcohol coming from their breath and an unsteady balance. The suspect was subsequently Public Information a deputy (540) 658-4468 Jarnold@staffordcountyva.gov arrested. While being detained, the suspect attempted to resist arrest, so additional charges were brought forward. The suspect proceeded to make threatening statements towards a deputy. The suspect was identified. The suspect was charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing justice, and public intoxication. The suspect was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
