Description: The Special Victims Squad reports the arrest of a Bethpage man on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 6:30 AM for Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors. According to Detectives, on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 [subject], of 10 Adams Avenue, responded to the Nassau County Probation Office, located at 400 County Seat Drive, Mineola, as required for being registered as a level 1 sex offender. During the visit, Probation Officers recovered a phone belonging to the defendant that was believed to be used for sexual purposes. An extensive and thorough investigation was conducted with the assistance of the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that resulted in [subject] being arrested on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at his residence without incident. On monday, march 10, 1997, a 34-year-old hispanic female, nusinaida ramos, was found dead in her apartment at 98 colin street, yonkers. The victim was separated and the mother of two young children. The victim was found beaten to death in her apartment by the yonkers police department. The victim was last seen alive in the afternoon hours on sunday, march 9, 1997. Attempts were made by her family to contact her on sunday, march 9, 1997 during the evening hours which were made with negative results. The family became concerned when they were unable to make contact with her on monday, march 10, 1997. The family then contacted the police who responded to the victim's apartment where they found her dead. There was no evidence of a forced entry and there was no evidence of a robbery.Agency
