On january 14, 1994, at about 12:30 p.M., utility workers discovered the body of kimberly cowhick in a field thick with brush and weeds in an area south of n. 72nd and north brighton. It was determined by the medical examiner that the victim’s body could have been in the field for some time and that she had died of a gunshot wound.
