Description: Welfare Check. Deputies were detailed to conduct a welfare check of a female lying on the ground at the location in Hamilton City. Deputies located the unresponsive but breathing female lying face down in a ditch near the location. Hamilton City Fire Department and responded to assist. After further evaluation, Deputies deemed the female to be gravely disabled. Westside Ambulance transported the female, who was later identified, to Enloe Medical Center to be treated and evaluated under 5150W&I. Refer to the report for further details.

On July 7th, 1976, the Redding Police Department investigated a murder that occurred near the Clear Creek Bridge on State Route 273 in Redding. The fifteen-year-old victim, Terri Lynn Ray, was found in Clear Creek with multiple stab wounds. Investigators aggressively worked the case, but over time the number of leads declined and the case went cold.
