Arrest at 1400 BLOCK OF MINER STREET on 09/19/2026 12:00 AM

Description: Issuance of a Warrant. Des Plaines Police responded to the 1400 Block of E. Miner Street for the report of a subject outside of the business that was refusing to leave. When officers arrived, they located a male subject, later identified as [individual], standing outside of an SUV in front of the location. Officers approached and spoke with [individual] who stated that he was a rideshare driver and was waiting on a customer who was inside the Miner Street Tavern.  When speaking with other patrons, officers learned that [individual] was not a rideshare driver and had been there for approximately four hours. When confronted with the information, [individual] admitted that he was not a driver but that he had been drinking. Officers then requested his identification, to which he provided and was then run through the database. Cook County Dispatch alerted officers that [individual] had a valid and extraditable warrant out of the Lake County Sheriff's Police Department.  [individual] was advised of the violation and taken into custody. He was transported to the Des Plaines Police station where he was subsequently arrested for one count of the Issuance of a Warrant and later brought to a Cook County courthouse for a detention hearing.
