Upon return of the purse to family members, a missing person’s investigation was initiated to locate the owner, 44-year-old mrs. Geraldine taillie. Hours later, mrs. Taillie’s body was found in field near south ave. And griffith st. The medical examiner’s office would later report that mrs. Taillie had been strangled to death.
