On april 14, 1988, 29 year old carolyn june o'kelley russell was found murdered. The colorado spring police department was called to the circle s motel located at 1639 s. Nevada avenue. The manager became concerned about the resident in room #26 and upon the arrival of law enforcement it was determined the decedent had been stabbed multiple times by an unknown assailant. O'kelley had been death between 24-48 hours. A knife was discovered next to her body.
