On june 15, 2008, at approximately 12:50 a.M. The colorado springs police emergency communications center received a 911 call that a shooting has occurred in an apartment on north murray boulevard. Amr paramedics declared demetrius donnell binion deceased on scene. The subsequent autopsy would conclude this was a homicide resulting from a gunshot wound to the chest. Three witnesses were present inside that apartment at the time of the shooting. Mr. Binion came to colorado springs from chicago to visit with one of his associates from chicago that was a soldier at fort carson. Interviews of mr. Binion's friends and associates revealed that mr. Binion may have been a user and seller of narcotics.
