Arrest at 3000 BLOCK OF S. DES PLAINES RIVER ROAD on 09/12/2026 12:00 AM

Description: Possession of a Controlled Substance. Des Plaines Police responded to the Rivers Casino located in the 3000 Block of S. Des Plaines River Road for the report of a subject with narcotics. When the officers arrived, they spoke with casino security who stated that a small bag was found containing a white powdery substance, suspected to be cocaine. Officers performed a test using a Narcotics Identification Kit which tested positive for the probable presence of cocaine. At that time, casino security advised that via surveillance they had traced the bag to the subject, [individual], who was currently in a holding area of the casino. Officers viewed the footage which showed [individual] on the casino floor holding a small bag in his right hand before dropping it on the floor. After that, [individual] walks away and the bag is immediately found by a staff member and turned over to security.  [individual] was taken into custody, transported to the Des Plaines Police station and subsequently arrested for one felony count of the Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was cited and released with his court information.
