Description: DUI #2. On September 11th, 2026, at approximately 2139 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – St. Albans Barracks responded to the report of an unresponsive female in a vehicle. The female was identified as the suspect of Charlotte, VT. After a thorough investigation, the suspect placed under arrest for driving under the influence. the suspect then transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing and issued a citation to appear in Grande Ilse County Criminal Court on October 1st, 2026, at 0830 hours for the above charge

On may 30th, 1989 the body of keith destromp (35 years of age) was discovered in the abandoned “pease grain” building on burlington’s waterfront, a victim of severe blunt trauma. Destromp was known to frequent this area which was popular with the homeless community at the time. Destromp’s death was ruled a homicide by the chief medical examiner and the case remains open and unsolved.
