On december 6, 1971 just before 7 am, 37-year old father and husband harold washington was shot in the back as he went to enter his car in the driveway. The lone suspect is believed to have fled the area on foot. Mr. Washington is remembered by his family as a hardworking, devoted father and husband. Investigators followed up on several promising leads, but never had the evidence required to make an arrest and obtain a conviction. There are people in the community who can provide information on his murder to give the washington family the closure they desperately need.Agency
