28 year old larry loucka, known to his friends as "Smiles" had just moved back to denver from phoenix a few days prior to his murder. On the late evening of september 8, 1974 mr. Loucka was walking down the street holding a portable radio to his ear. An unknown suspect followed him, came up behind him, and shot him. Mr. Loucka was immediately transported to a local hospital, but died a few hours later on september 9, 1974.
