The victim and some of his friends were standing on the corner when a car drove by and circled the block. A short time later an unknown black male dressed in black with a black scarf over his face ran up to the group, singled out the victim and fired multiple shots at mr. Briscoe. The victim fell, wounded and was then shot additional times by the suspect.
