On april 16, 2006 at 9:57 p.M., officers responded to 17103 east ohio place on a report of one shot fired and a person moaning. Officers found renauldo cadogan deceased inside the partially open door to apt #105, suffering from a single gunshot wound to the chest. No eyewitnesses were located during a canvass. Inside the apartment near the front door was a gold colored bag that contained a number of small ziploc baggies. The baggies smelled strongly of marijuana, but they were empty, except for what appeared to be some residue. The investigation revealed that the victim sold marijuana and was heard arguing on his cell phone with an unknown party over the cost of three pounds of marijuana. Anyone with information regarding this case, is asked to please contact the aurora police department.
