On december 19, 2008 around 11:15 p.M. Marco escalera and his friends were in the parkway liquor store at 6075 parkway drive. They got involved in a verbal altercation with some individuals inside the store. Marco escalera and his friends exited the store at which point marco escalera was shot. Marco escalera's friends drove him to the hospital but marco escalera died as a result of his injuries.
