Description: Driving on a Revoked License / Traffic. In the above-mentioned incident, officers were responding to the 1000 Block of Greenview Avenue where it was stated a female subject left the area in a black Toyota and the subject had a warrant through the Cook County Sheriff's Police Department. While responding, officers observed a black Toyota traveling on Prairie Avenue that had failed to stop at the stop sign.  The officer pulled behind the vehicle and activated his overhead emergency lights, curbing the Toyota in the 1300 Block. Upon approach of the driver's side, the officer made contact with the above, [individual], informing him the reason for the traffic stop. [individual]'s information was requested and run through the database when officers were alerted that he did not have a valid driver's license, said license was revoked by the Illinois Secretary of State. [individual] was advised of the violation and taken into custody. It was also learned that [individual] had an active warrant. [individual] was transported to Des Plaines Police station where he was subsequently arrested for the Issuance of a Warrant, one misdemeanor count of Driving on a Revoked License, and ticketed for Disobeying a Stop Sign. [individual] was cited and released with his court information.
