Description: The Fifth Squad reports the arrest of a Valley Stream man for a Burglary that occurred on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in West Hempstead. According to Detectives, Fifth Precinct Officers responded to a June Place residence for a Burglary report. A 62-year-old female and a 28-year-old male report that while they were out of the residence someone entered their home without their permission. The suspect removed a PlayStation 5 console along with 2 PlayStation controllers and assorted clothing. After a thorough investigation, [subject]endant [subject] with Burglary 2nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.

On february 5, 1997, at about 6:00 p.M. On the eastbound side of I-84, about 1/5 of a mile west of exit 12 and about four miles east of the newburgh-beacon bridge eastbound toll barrier, richard aderson apparently was involved in an accident. An argument ensued and aderson was shot in the chest. After the shooting, the suspect left the scene and headed eastbound on interstate 84.
