On thursday, april 2, 2009, henrico police responded to 1801 oak hill lane for a deceased black male. Officers arrived and found the victim lying on the floor of the residence. The victim was identified by family members as darius mansfield poston. The family stated they had not heard from mr. Poston for an extended period, so they went to his residence looking for him. The family entered mr. Poston's residence and found him deceased on the floor and called the police. Mr. Poston was transported to the office of the chief medical examiner (ocme). The ocme determined the cause of death was from a gunshot wound.
