Description: On Tuesday, 08/25/2026, at approximately 2053 hours, deputies with the Criminal Apprehension Unit conducted a vehicle stop at Old 71 Highway and 347th St. on a red Ford van for improper display of license plates and a stop sign violation. Contact was made with Leon Barnes, who was arrested on an active Greene County warrant (#26GRFTA1173) for failure to appear for possession of amphetamines, with a bond set at $1,000 cash or surety. [NAME] was transported to the jail without incident.

Terry was 16 years old when was last seen leaving her residence in the 2600 block of park on june 24, 1983 at 5:45 p.M. After she did not return home, her mother became concerned and started contacting family and friends trying to find anyone that had her. At 9 a.M. The next morning, june 25, 1983, the victim’s body was discovered near 2000 e. 22nd street, hidden in the brush of a semi-secluded area not far from her home.
