Just prior to midnight on november 11th 1988 members of the denver and lakewood police departments responded to the area of west 6th avenue and sheridan blvd. On a report of a motor vehicle accident. While on scene, the driver of the vehicle involved in the one-car accident was found to have sustained a gunshot wound. The victim, subsequently identified as geoffrey cagle, was immediately transported to a local hospital but unfortunately died shortly after arrival. The suspect(s) responsible for mr. Cagle’s murder have yet to be identified. Geoffrey cagle lived in the city lakewood and worked as a car salesman.Agency
