Description: Unlawful Trespass. On August 19 th, 2026, at approximately 0825 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – St. Albans Barracks received a report from an employee of the Northern Tier Center for Health (the NOTCH) that Russell of Richford, VT was on the property. After further investigation, it was determined that Russell had unlawfully trespassed onto the property after being issued a Notice Against Trespass. Russell was located at a later date in Richford and issued a citation ordering Russell to appear before the Franklin County Criminal Court on September 29 th, 2026, at 0800 hours for the charge of unlawful trespass

The peacocks were discovered deceased in their residence on 09/17/89, both victims of homicide. The residence was secure, and no sign of forced entry was discovered. A significant amount of evidence was recovered from the scene, and vsp detectives, cold-case specialists and forensic analysts continued to work the investigation over the years. On thursday, oct. 13, 2022, vsp detectives with the major crime unit, assisted by the new york state police, arrested a suspect in the case: 79-year-old michael anthony louise, the peacocks' former son-in-law.
