On december 26, 2017, at approximately 12:23 a.M., columbus police officers were called to that area of 1079 olmstead avenue on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim, later identified as 37yr old aaron leapheart iii, lying outside in the apartment courtyard suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Cfd medic 18 responded to the scene and pronounced mr. Leapheart deceased at 12:33 a.M.
