Description: Reckless Endangerment. On July 23, 2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m., officers responded to the area, for the report of a person with a weapon. Multiple callers reported hearing numerous gunshots after observing a subject, yelling outside his residence. Upon arrival, deputies encountered subject armed with a Bowie knife. Subject was taken into custody without incident. Deputies recovered three additional concealed knives from his person. The investigation revealed multiple witnesses heard gunshots coming from subject's property, and surveillance video captured subject yelling immediately before several gunshots were heard. A subsequent search of the property located spent shell casings beneath the rear deck, corroborating witness statements and video evidence. subject, who admitted to consuming alcohol, was arrested and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center, where he was charged with Reckless Endangerment and Disorderly Conduct.
