On may 6th 2013, at approximately 5:10 a.M., lvmpd call center received a 911 call from a person reporting a male who was discovered unresponsive. Patrol officers and medical personnel responded to the vera johnson apartments located in the 500 block of n. Lamb blvd. Arriving officers discovered a male who has been identified as juan martinez, 44, unresponsive and suffering from unknown injuries. Martinez was transported to sunrise hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on may 7, 2013. Investigators believe that there were likely multiple suspects involved and the suspects either live in or frequent the vera johnson apartments. Lvmpd homicide detectives are seeking the public assistance with this investigation.Agency
