On the night of january 5, 2004, heath hamilton stopped at the shell gas station located at 5317 edmondson avenue, 21229 with his son. Heath was speaking with an acquaintance outside of his vehicle when an unknown suspect approached them with a gun. This suspect demanded money and the keys to heath’s vehicle. When heath told the suspect that he did not have any money, the suspect opened fire. Heath was shot once in the head while his 6-year-old son sat nearby in their car.
