Description: The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of a Hewlett Neck man for an incident that occurred on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 2:33 pm in Hewlett Neck. According to Detectives, officers responded to a Dolphin Drive residence for a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers were informed that a verbal argument occurred between the [subject], of Hewlett Neck and a female victim, 50. The argument escalated and the defendant shoved the victim to the ground while threatening her. He then forcibly removed the victim’s cell phone from her hands and damaged it. Fearing for her safety, the victim fled on foot to a neighboring residence and dialed 911. A short time later, the defendant was located and placed under arrest without incident. [subject] is charged with Menacing 3rd Degree, Grand Larceny 4th Degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd Degree and Harassment 2nd Degree He will be arraigned on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at First District Court 99 Main Street, Hempstead.

Mr. Pagliaro was not married and a father of one child. He worked as a cab driver and also liked to play pool. On the night of his homicide, he was with a female companion. They were standing outside of her vehicle in the parking lot of caryl avenue in yonkers. An unknown male came running up on the couple and started shooting. The female jumped into the car and drove off. Mr. Pagliaro started running southbound in the parking lot towards caryl avenue, with the unknown male running after him and still shooting. Mr. Pagliaro collapsed in the parking lot with numerous bullet wounds. Mr. Pagliaro died a short time later at saint joseph's hospital.Agency
