Description: The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of two Brooklyn men for the Criminal Possession of a Weapon that occurred on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 1:03 am in Inwood. According to Detectives, Fourth Precinct Officers were on patrol when they observed a black 2014 Toyota Camry SE traveling southbound on the Nassau Expressway with a defective license plate lamp. Officers activated their emergency lights/sirens and conducted a Vehicle and Traffic Law (VTL) stop near the intersection of Wanser Avenue. An investigation resulted in the recovery of an illegal loaded silver and black SCCY CPX-2 9mm handgun from inside the vehicle. On the evening of september 2nd into september 3rd, 2017 deleon was inside of club 808 sports bar at 164 lyell ave. At closing time, mr. Deleon left the club and was talking to a person in the area of 90 saratoga ave when the suspect approached on foot and fired multiple gunshots at him. Mr. Deleon wounds proved to be fatal. He was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Investigators believe this was a targeted attack against mr. Deleon.Agency
