Description: The Third Squad reports the arrest of multiple people for a disorderly car meetup that occurred on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 10:00 PM in Uniondale. According to Detectives, Third Precinct Officers responded to Mitchel Field, located at 1 Charles Lindbergh Boulevard for reports of an unpermitted car meetup. Upon arrival, Officers observed approximately 150 vehicles gathered in the area. Due to the large scale of the meetup, multiple Police units responded including the Bureau of Special Operations (BSO), Strategic Response Team (SRT), Criminal Intelligence Rapid Response Team (CIRRT), Canine Unit (K9), Aviation and the Hempstead Police Department. Officers conducted Vehicle and Traffic Law (VTL) stops that resulted in a total of 22 vehicles impounded and approximately 100 VTL summons issued.
