Description: The Third Squad is investigating a Criminal Mischief that occurred on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. in North New Hyde Park. According to detectives, an unknown female entered the premise of Notre Dame Elementary School located at 25 Mayfair Road and defaced the St. Michaels statue before fleeing the scene on foot in an unknown direction. Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above incident to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or the Third Squad at 516-573-6353. All callers will remain anonymous.
