On march 26, 2017 at approximately 12:13 p.M., deputies responded to the area of 23rd street and s. Orange blossom trail regarding a shooting. Upon arrival, a ford f150 truck was found on its side after it apparently crashed into a parked car. The presumed driver/victim 1, sylvio montina, was found inside the truck, with gunshot wounds. The presumed passenger/victim 2, darlene harriell, black/female, was entrapped underneath the truck and pronounced dead on the scene. Victim montina was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Witnesses reported hearing gunfire on 23rd street, west of s. Orange blossom trail, just prior to the vehicle crash.
