On tuesday, may 13, 1980, at approximately 9:30 pm, mr. Floyd denman was in his second floor apartment. Witnesses reported overhearing mr. Denman in conversation with an unknown number of males. Shortly thereafter, shots rang out and as witnesses exited their respective apartments, they discovered mr. Denman lying, on the second floor apartment landing, just outside his apartment door. Upon arrival, houston police officers found mr. Denman lying at the door of his apartment. Despite being transported to a local hospital, mr. Denman died at the hospital. Witnesses interviewed did report hearing several gunshots and people, possibly males running from the scene.Agency
