Description: Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. At 6:40 p.m. officers were dispatched to Speedway, [location] for a disturbance. Upon arrival, an officer was directed toward a vehicle that was leaving the gas station. The officer caught up to the vehicle and observed the registration was expired. A traffic stop was initiated and transported to the Darien Police Department and charged with two counts of driving under the influence, unlawful possession of cannabis, expired registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and suspended driver’s license. was release on pretrial release and assigned a court date of September 15, 2026 at the DuPage County Judicial Center.
