At approximately 7:25 pm, south precinct officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of green springs highway on report of a person shot. Officers arrived on the scene and observed the victim lying unresponsive in the parking lot of the location suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Birmingham fire and rescue personnel arrived on the scene and transported the victim to uab hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.Agency
