Description: Domestic Battery. Des Plaines Police responded to the 400 Block of W. Dempster Street for the report of a fight that occurred on the property. Upon arrival, officers located a subject that appeared to have been in a physical confrontation in the front of the residence and two females, one later identified as [individual], arguing near the front door. After separating all parties, the officers spoke with [individual] who stated that she was engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim, with whom she shares a dating relationship. During the argument, [individual] grew upset and threw the glass she was holding at the victim. The officers then spoke with the victim who also stated that [individual] had hit him with the glass. [individual] was taken into custody, transported to the Des Plaines Police station and subsequently arrested for one misdemeanor count of Domestic Battery. She was later brought to a Cook County courthouse for a detention hearing.
